The 1999 Baltimore Orioles finished with a record of 78-84. They scored 851 runs and belted 203 home runs to go along with a .279 batting average. The offense was powered by Albert Belle, who led the team with 37 home runs and 117 RBI. B.J. Surhoff led the team with 207 hits for a .308 average. Brady Anderson had a great year on the basepaths with 36 stolen bases.

The team allowed 815 runs and had a team ERA of 4.77. Mike Mussina led the pitching staff with 18 wins and 172 strikeouts. Mike Timlin was the team's best fireman, with 27 saves.
