The 1998 Atlanta Braves finished with a record of 106-56. They scored 826 runs and belted 215 home runs to go along with a .272 batting average. The offense was powered by Andres Galarraga, who led the team with 44 home runs and 121 RBI. Chipper Jones led the team with 188 hits for a .313 average.

The team allowed 581 runs and had a team ERA of 3.25. Tom Glavine was the winningest pitcher, with 20 games won. Greg Maddux racked up 204 strkeouts to lead the team. Kerry Ligtenberg led the team with 30 saves.
