The 1997 Los Angeles Dodgers finished with a record of 88-74. They scored 742 runs and belted 174 home runs to go along with a .268 batting average. The offense was powered by Mike Piazza, who led the team with 40 home runs, 124 RBI, and 201 hits. Raul Mondesi had a great year on the basepaths with 32 stolen bases.

The team allowed 645 runs and had a team ERA of 3.63. Hideo Nomo and Chan Ho Park were tied for the team lead in wins with 14. Hideo Nomo racked up 233 strkeouts to lead the team. Todd Worrell led the team with 35 saves.
