On June 17 1992 the Suns made blockbuster trade with the Philadelphia 76ers. The Suns sent Jeff Hornacek, Tim Perry and Andrew Lang for "Sir" Charles Barkley. This trade came as a surprise with the hope of propelling the Suns to their first ever NBA Championship.
