The 1988 Milwaukee Brewers finished with a record of 87-75. They scored 682 runs and belted 113 home runs to go along with a .257 batting average. Rob Deer led the team in home runs with 23. Robin Yount was the best run producer with 91 RBI. Paul Molitor and Robin Yount were tied for the team lead in hits with 190. Paul Molitor had a great year on the basepaths with 41 stolen bases.

The team allowed 616 runs and had a team ERA of 3.45. Teddy Higuera led the pitching staff with 16 wins and 192 strikeouts. Dan Plesac was the team's best fireman, with 30 saves.
