The 1988 Baltimore Orioles finished with a record of 54-107. They scored 550 runs and belted 137 home runs to go along with a .238 batting average. The offense was powered by Eddie Murray, who led the team with 28 home runs, 84 RBI, and 171 hits.

The team allowed 789 runs and had a team ERA of 4.55. Jeff Ballard and Dave J. Schmidt were tied for the team lead in wins with 8. Mike Boddicker racked up 100 strkeouts to lead the team. Tom Niedenfuer led the team with 18 saves.
