The 1987 Baltimore Orioles finished with a record of 67-95. They scored 729 runs and belted 211 home runs to go along with a .258 batting average. Larry Sheets provided the power for the team with 31 homers. Cal Ripken knocked in 98 runs. Eddie Murray led the team with 171 hits for a .277 average.

The team allowed 880 runs and had a team ERA of 5.01. Eric Bell, Mike Boddicker, and Dave J. Schmidt were tied for the team lead in wins with 10. Mike Boddicker led the team with 152 strikeouts. Tom Niedenfuer led the team with 13 saves.
