The 1986 Seattle Mariners finished with a record of 67-95. They scored 718 runs and belted 158 home runs to go along with a .253 batting average. The offense was powered by Jim Presley, who led the team with 27 home runs, 107 RBI. Phil Bradley and Jim Presley were tied for the team lead in hits with 163.

The team allowed 835 runs and had a team ERA of 4.67. Mark Langston led the pitching staff with 12 wins and 245 strikeouts. Matt Young led the team with 13 saves.
