The 1986 Baltimore Orioles finished with a record of 73-89. They scored 708 runs and belted 169 home runs to go along with a .258 batting average. The offense was powered by Cal Ripken, who led the team with 25 home runs and 177 hits. Eddie Murray was the best run producer with 84 RBI.

The team allowed 760 runs and had a team ERA of 4.31. Mike Boddicker led the pitching staff with 14 wins and 175 strikeouts. Don Aase was the team's best fireman, with 34 saves.
