The 1985 Toronto Blue Jays finished with a record of 99-62. They scored 759 runs and belted 158 home runs to go along with a .269 batting average. The offense was powered by George Bell, who led the team with 28 home runs and 95 RBI. Damaso Garcia led the team with 169 hits for a .282 average. Lloyd Moseby had a great year on the basepaths with 37 stolen bases.

The team allowed 588 runs and had a team ERA of 3.31. Leading the team in wins was Doyle Alexander, with 17. Dave Stieb struck out 167 batters to lead the team. Bill Caudill was the team's best fireman, with 14 saves.
