The 1985 St. Louis Cardinals finished with a record of 101-61. They scored 747 runs and belted 87 home runs to go along with a .264 batting average. Jack Clark led the team in home runs with 22. Tom Herr was the best run producer with 110 RBI. Willie McGee led the team with 216 hits for a .353 average. Vince Coleman had a great year on the basepaths with 110 stolen bases.

The team allowed 572 runs and had a team ERA of 3.11. Joaquin Andujar and John Tudor were tied for the team lead in wins with 21. John Tudor led the team with 169 strikeouts. Jeff Lahti was the team's best fireman, with 19 saves.
