The 1985 San Diego Padres finished with a record of 83-79. They scored 650 runs and belted 109 home runs to go along with a .255 batting average. Carmelo Martinez provided the power for the team with 21 homers. Steve Garvey knocked in 81 runs. Tony Gwynn led the team with 197 hits for a .317 average.
