The 1985 Cincinnati Reds finished with a record of 89-72. They scored 677 runs and belted 114 home runs to go along with a .255 batting average. The offense was powered by Dave Parker, who led the team with 34 home runs, 125 RBI, and 198 hits. Gary Redus had a great year on the basepaths with 48 stolen bases.

The team allowed 666 runs and had a team ERA of 3.71. Tom Browning was the winningest pitcher, with 20 games won. Mario Soto led the team with 214 strikeouts. Ted Power led the team with 27 saves.
