The 1984 Minnesota Twins finished with a record of 81-81. They scored 673 runs and belted 114 home runs to go along with a .265 batting average. Tom Brunansky provided the power for the team with 32 homers. Kent Hrbek knocked in 107 runs. Mickey Hatcher and Kent Hrbek were tied for the team lead in hits with 174.

The team allowed 675 runs and had a team ERA of 3.86. Frank Viola led the pitching staff with 18 wins and 149 strikeouts. Ron Davis was the team's best fireman, with 29 saves.
