The 1983 Toronto Blue Jays finished with a record of 89-73. They scored 795 runs and belted 167 home runs to go along with a .277 batting average. Jesse Barfield and Willie Upshaw were tied for the team lead in home runs with 27. The offense was powered by Willie Upshaw, who led the team with 104 RBI, 177 hits.

The team allowed 726 runs and had a team ERA of 4.12. Dave Stieb led the pitching staff with 17 wins and 187 strikeouts. Randy Moffitt was the team's best fireman, with 10 saves.
