The 1983 Minnesota Twins finished with a record of 70-92. They scored 709 runs and belted 141 home runs to go along with a .261 batting average. Tom Brunansky led the team in home runs with 28. The offense was powered by Gary Ward, who led the team with 88 RBI and 173 hits.

The team allowed 822 runs and had a team ERA of 4.67. Ken Schrom led the team with 15 wins. Frank Viola racked up 127 strkeouts to lead the team. Ron Davis was the team's best fireman, with 30 saves.
