The 1983 Milwaukee Brewers finished with a record of 87-75. They scored 764 runs and belted 132 home runs to go along with a .277 batting average. The offense was powered by Cecil Cooper, who led the team with 30 home runs, 126 RBI, and 203 hits. Paul Molitor had a great year on the basepaths with 41 stolen bases.

The team allowed 708 runs and had a team ERA of 4.02. Jim Slaton was the winningest pitcher, with 14 games won. Don Sutton racked up 134 strkeouts to lead the team. Pete Ladd led the team with 25 saves.
