The 1982 Baltimore Orioles finished with a record of 94-68. They scored 774 runs and belted 179 home runs to go along with a .266 batting average. The offense was powered by Eddie Murray, who led the team with 32 home runs, 110 RBI, and 174 hits.

The team allowed 687 runs and had a team ERA of 3.99. Dennis Martinez led the pitching staff with 16 wins and 111 strikeouts. Tippy Martinez was the team's best fireman, with 16 saves.
