The 1981 Montreal Expos finished with a record of 60-48. They scored 443 runs and belted 81 home runs to go along with a .246 batting average. The offense was powered by Andre Dawson, who led the team with 24 home runs and 119 hits. Gary Carter knocked in 68 runs. Tim Raines had a great year on the basepaths with 71 stolen bases.

The team allowed 394 runs and had a team ERA of 3.30. Leading the team in wins was Steve Rogers, with 12. Bill Gullickson struck out 115 batters to lead the team.
