The 1981 Milwaukee Brewers finished with a record of 62-47. They scored 493 runs and belted 96 home runs to go along with a .257 batting average. Gorman Thomas provided the power for the team with 21 homers. Ben Oglivie was the best run producer with 72 RBI. Cecil Cooper led the team with 133 hits for a .320 average.

The team allowed 459 runs and had a team ERA of 3.91. Pete Vuckovich led the pitching staff with 14 wins and 84 strikeouts. Rollie Fingers led the team with 28 saves.
