The 1980 Baltimore Orioles finished with a record of 100-62. They scored 805 runs and belted 156 home runs to go along with a .273 batting average. The offense was powered by Eddie Murray, who led the team with 32 home runs and 116 RBI. Al Bumbry led the team with 205 hits for a .318 average. Al Bumbry had a great year on the basepaths with 44 stolen bases.

The team allowed 640 runs and had a team ERA of 3.64. Steve Stone led the pitching staff with 25 wins and 149 strikeouts. Tim Stoddard led the team with 26 saves.
