The 1977 Seattle Mariners finished with a record of 64-98. They scored 624 runs and belted 133 home runs to go along with a .256 batting average. Leroy Stanton led the team in home runs with 27. Dan Meyer and Leroy Stanton were tied for the team lead in RBI with 90. Dan Meyer led the team with 159 hits for a .273 average.

The team allowed 855 runs and had a team ERA of 4.84. Leading the team in wins was Glenn Abbott, with 12. Enrique Romo led the pitching staff with 105 strikeouts and 16 saves.
