The 1977 Baltimore Orioles finished with a record of 97-64. They scored 719 runs and belted 148 home runs to go along with a .261 batting average. Lee May and Eddie Murray were tied for the team lead in home runs with 27. Lee May and Ken Singleton were tied for the team lead in RBI with 99. Ken Singleton led the team with 176 hits for a .328 average.

The team allowed 653 runs and had a team ERA of 3.75. Jim Palmer led the pitching staff with 20 wins and 193 strikeouts.
