The 1976 Minnesota Twins finished with a record of 85-77. They scored 743 runs and belted 81 home runs to go along with a .274 batting average. Dan Ford led the team in home runs with 20. Larry Hisle knocked in 96 runs. Rod Carew led the team with 200 hits for a .331 average. Rod Carew had a great year on the basepaths with 49 stolen bases.

The team allowed 704 runs and had a team ERA of 3.72. Bill Campbell led the pitching staff with 17 wins and 20 saves. Dave Goltz racked up 133 strkeouts to lead the team.
