The 1976 Cincinnati Reds finished with a record of 102-60. They scored 857 runs and belted 141 home runs to go along with a .280 batting average. The offense was powered by George Foster, who led the team with 29 home runs and 121 RBI. Pete Rose led the team with 215 hits for a .323 average. Joe Morgan had a great year on the basepaths with 60 stolen bases.

The team allowed 633 runs and had a team ERA of 3.51. Gary Nolan led the team with 15 wins. Pat Zachry struck out 143 batters to lead the team. Rawly Eastwick led the team with 26 saves.
