The 1975 Chicago Cubs finished with a record of 75-87. They scored 712 runs and belted 95 home runs to go along with a .259 batting average. Andre Thornton provided the power for the team with 18 homers. Jerry Morales was the best run producer with 91 RBI. Jose Cardenal and Bill Madlock were tied for the team lead in hits with 182. Jose Cardenal had a great year on the basepaths with 34 stolen bases.

The team allowed 827 runs and had a team ERA of 4.56. Ray Burris was the winningest pitcher, with 15 games won. Bill Bonham struck out 165 batters to lead the team. Darold Knowles was the team's best fireman, with 15 saves.
