The 1970 Minnesota Twins finished with a record of 98-64. They scored 744 runs and belted 153 home runs to go along with a .262 batting average. The offense was powered by Harmon Killebrew, who led the team with 41 home runs and 113 RBI. Tony Oliva led the team with 204 hits for a .325 average.

The team allowed 605 runs and had a team ERA of 3.23. Leading the team in wins was Jim Perry, with 24. Tom Hall racked up 184 strkeouts to lead the team. Ron Perranoski led the team with 34 saves.
