The 1969 San Diego Padres finished with a record of 52-110. They scored 468 runs and belted 99 home runs to go along with a .225 batting average. The offense was powered by Nate Colbert, who led the team with 24 home runs and 66 RBI. Ollie Brown led the team with 150 hits for a .264 average.

The team allowed 746 runs and had a team ERA of 4.24. Joe Niekro and Al Santorini were tied for the team lead in wins with 8. Clay Kirby struck out 113 batters to lead the team.
