The 1969 New York Yankees finished with a record of 80-81. They scored 562 runs and belted 94 home runs to go along with a .235 batting average. Joe Pepitone led the team in home runs with 27. Bobby Murcer knocked in 82 runs. Horace Clarke led the team with 183 hits for a .285 average. Horace Clarke had a great year on the basepaths with 33 stolen bases.

The team allowed 587 runs and had a team ERA of 3.23. Mel Stottlemyre led the team with 20 wins. Fritz Peterson struck out 150 batters to lead the team. Jack Aker was the team's best fireman, with 11 saves.
