The 1969 Cleveland Indians finished with a record of 62-99. They scored 573 runs and belted 119 home runs to go along with a .237 batting average. Ken Harrelson and Tony Horton were tied for the team lead in home runs with 27. The offense was powered by Tony Horton, who led the team with 93 RBI, 174 hits. Jose Cardenal had a great year on the basepaths with 36 stolen bases.

The team allowed 717 runs and had a team ERA of 3.94. Sam McDowell led the pitching staff with 18 wins and 279 strikeouts. Stan Williams led the team with 12 saves.
