The 1969 Cincinnati Reds finished with a record of 89-73. They scored 798 runs and belted 171 home runs to go along with a .277 batting average. Lee May led the team in home runs with 38. Tony Perez was the best run producer with 122 RBI. Pete Rose led the team with 218 hits for a .348 average.

The team allowed 768 runs and had a team ERA of 4.13. Jim Merritt led the pitching staff with 17 wins and 144 strikeouts. Wayne Granger led the team with 27 saves.
