The 1968 Cleveland Indians finished with a record of 86-75. They scored 516 runs and belted 75 home runs to go along with a .234 batting average. The offense was powered by Tony Horton, who led the team with 14 home runs and 59 RBI. Jose Cardenal led the team with 150 hits for a .257 average. Jose Cardenal had a great year on the basepaths with 40 stolen bases.

The team allowed 504 runs and had a team ERA of 2.66. Luis Tiant led the team with 21 wins. Sam McDowell struck out 283 batters to lead the team. Vicente Romo was the team's best fireman, with 12 saves.
