The 1968 Cincinnati Reds finished with a record of 83-79. They scored 690 runs and belted 106 home runs to go along with a .273 batting average. Lee May led the team in home runs with 22. Tony Perez knocked in 92 runs. Pete Rose led the team with 210 hits for a .335 average.

The team allowed 673 runs and had a team ERA of 3.56. Jim Maloney led the pitching staff with 16 wins and 181 strikeouts. Clay Carroll led the team with 17 saves.
