The 1966 Cincinnati Reds finished with a record of 76-84. They scored 692 runs and belted 149 home runs to go along with a .260 batting average. Deron Johnson led the team in home runs with 24. Leo Cardenas and Deron Johnson were tied for the team lead in RBI with 81. Pete Rose led the team with 205 hits for a .313 average.

The team allowed 702 runs and had a team ERA of 4.08. Jim Maloney led the pitching staff with 16 wins and 216 strikeouts. Billy McCool led the team with 18 saves.
