The 1966 Chicago Cubs finished with a record of 59-103. They scored 644 runs and belted 140 home runs to go along with a .254 batting average. The offense was powered by Ron Santo, who led the team with 30 home runs and 94 RBI. Glenn Beckert led the team with 188 hits for a .287 average. Adolfo Phillips had a great year on the basepaths with 32 stolen bases.

The team allowed 809 runs and had a team ERA of 4.33. Ken Holtzman led the pitching staff with 11 wins and 171 strikeouts.
