The 1965 Philadelphia Phillies finished with a record of 85-76. They scored 654 runs and belted 144 home runs to go along with a .250 batting average. The offense was powered by Johnny Callison, who led the team with 32 home runs and 101 RBI. Dick Allen led the team with 187 hits for a .302 average.

The team allowed 667 runs and had a team ERA of 3.53. Jim Bunning led the pitching staff with 19 wins and 268 strikeouts.
