The 1965 Cleveland Indians finished with a record of 87-75. They scored 663 runs and belted 156 home runs to go along with a .250 batting average. Leon Wagner provided the power for the team with 28 homers. The offense was powered by Rocky Colavito, who led the team with 108 RBI and 170 hits.

The team allowed 613 runs and had a team ERA of 3.30. Sam McDowell led the pitching staff with 17 wins and 325 strikeouts. Gary Bell was the team's best fireman, with 17 saves.
