The 1964 Minnesota Twins finished with a record of 79-83. They scored 737 runs and belted 221 home runs to go along with a .252 batting average. The offense was powered by Harmon Killebrew, who led the team with 49 home runs and 111 RBI. Tony Oliva led the team with 217 hits for a .323 average.

The team allowed 678 runs and had a team ERA of 3.58. Jim Kaat led the team with 17 wins. Camilo Pascual struck out 213 batters to lead the team. Al Worthington was the team's best fireman, with 14 saves.
