The 1963 Cleveland Indians finished with a record of 79-83. They scored 635 runs and belted 169 home runs to go along with a .239 batting average. The offense was powered by Max Alvis, who led the team with 22 home runs, 67 RBI, and 165 hits.

The team allowed 702 runs and had a team ERA of 3.79. Mudcat Grant and Jack Kralick were tied for the team lead in wins with 13. Pedro Ramos led the team with 169 strikeouts. Ted Abernathy was the team's best fireman, with 12 saves.
