The 1963 Chicago Cubs finished with a record of 82-80. They scored 570 runs and belted 127 home runs to go along with a .238 batting average. Ron Santo and Billy Williams were tied for the team lead in home runs with 25. The offense was powered by Ron Santo, who led the team with 99 RBI, 187 hits.

The team allowed 578 runs and had a team ERA of 3.08. Dick Ellsworth led the pitching staff with 22 wins and 185 strikeouts. Lindy McDaniel led the team with 22 saves.
