The 1962 St. Louis Cardinals finished with a record of 84-78. They scored 774 runs and belted 137 home runs to go along with a .271 batting average. Ken Boyer led the team in home runs with 24. The offense was powered by Bill White, who led the team with 102 RBI and 199 hits.

The team allowed 664 runs and had a team ERA of 3.55. Larry Jackson led the team with 16 wins. Bob Gibson racked up 208 strkeouts to lead the team. Lindy McDaniel led the team with 14 saves.
