The 1960 St. Louis Cardinals finished with a record of 86-68. They scored 639 runs and belted 138 home runs to go along with a .254 batting average. The offense was powered by Ken Boyer, who led the team with 32 home runs, 97 RBI, and 168 hits.

The team allowed 616 runs and had a team ERA of 3.64. Ernie Broglio led the pitching staff with 21 wins and 188 strikeouts. Lindy McDaniel was the team's best fireman, with 26 saves.
