The 1957 Cincinnati Reds finished with a record of 80-74. They scored 747 runs and belted 187 home runs to go along with a .269 batting average. The offense was powered by George Crowe, who led the team with 31 home runs and 92 RBI. Frank Robinson led the team with 197 hits for a .322 average.

The team allowed 781 runs and had a team ERA of 4.62. Brooks Lawrence led the pitching staff with 16 wins and 121 strikeouts.
