The 1955 Cleveland Indians finished with a record of 93-61. They scored 698 runs and belted 148 home runs to go along with a .257 batting average. Larry Doby led the team in home runs with 26. Al Rosen knocked in 81 runs. Al Smith led the team with 186 hits for a .306 average.

The team allowed 601 runs and had a team ERA of 3.39. Leading the team in wins was Bob Lemon, with 18. Herb Score struck out 245 batters to lead the team. Ray Narleski was the team's best fireman, with 19 saves.
