The 1951 St. Louis Browns finished with a record of 52-102. They scored 611 runs and belted 86 home runs to go along with a .247 batting average. Ken Wood led the team in home runs with 15. Ray Coleman was the best run producer with 55 RBI. Bobby Young led the team with 159 hits for a .260 average.

The team allowed 882 runs and had a team ERA of 5.18. Ned Garver led the pitching staff with 20 wins and 84 strikeouts.
