The 1951 New York Yankees finished with a record of 98-56. They scored 798 runs and belted 140 home runs to go along with a .269 batting average. The offense was powered by Yogi Berra, who led the team with 27 home runs, 88 RBI, and 161 hits.

The team allowed 621 runs and had a team ERA of 3.56. Eddie Lopat and Vic Raschi were tied for the team lead in wins with 21. Vic Raschi racked up 164 strkeouts to lead the team.
