The 1948 St. Louis Browns finished with a record of 59-94. They scored 671 runs and belted 63 home runs to go along with a .271 batting average. Les Moss led the team in home runs with 14. Whitey Platt knocked in 82 runs. Bob Dillinger led the team with 207 hits for a .321 average.

The team allowed 849 runs and had a team ERA of 5.01. Fred Sanford led the team with 12 wins. Cliff Fannin led the team with 102 strikeouts.
