The 1947 St. Louis Browns finished with a record of 59-95. They scored 564 runs and belted 90 home runs to go along with a .241 batting average. The offense was powered by Jeff Heath, who led the team with 27 home runs and 85 RBI. Bob Dillinger led the team with 168 hits for a .294 average. Bob Dillinger had a great year on the basepaths with 34 stolen bases.

The team allowed 744 runs and had a team ERA of 4.33. Jack Kramer was the winningest pitcher, with 11 games won. Ellis Kinder led the team with 110 strikeouts.
