The 1946 Cincinnati Reds finished with a record of 67-87. They scored 523 runs and belted 65 home runs to go along with a .239 batting average. The offense was powered by Grady Hatton, who led the team with 14 home runs and 69 RBI. Bert Haas led the team with 141 hits for a .264 average.

The team allowed 566 runs and had a team ERA of 3.08. Joe Beggs was the winningest pitcher, with 12 games won. Ewell Blackwell led the team with 100 strikeouts.
