The 1944 Philadelphia Athletics finished with a record of 72-82. They scored 525 runs and belted 36 home runs to go along with a .257 batting average. The offense was powered by Frankie Hayes, who led the team with 13 home runs and 78 RBI. Bobby Estalella led the team with 151 hits for a .298 average.
